Awards and Commendations

Award to the Excellence in Services of Enterprise Development, granted by the Inter-American Development Bank in 2006

Within the framework of the IX Forum of the Microenterprise in Quito-Ecuador, the Inter-American Development Bank awarded the Enterprise Excellence to Actuar Famiempresas, recognizing it like an organization with institutional vision, sustainability, leadership, coverage and impact in the implementation of services to support the promotion of the Microenterprise. This award is the highest granted to organizations that promote the development of the Microenterprise in Latin America and the Caribbean. This is the first time a Colombian organization receives such an award in the “Excellence in Services of Enterprise Development” category.

International Award Txemi Cantera de Economía Social, promoted by The Group of Working Societies of Euskadi, ASLE, in 2007

This award is granted to those people or organizations who contribute to the defense of the principles on which the Social Economy is based on: participation, democracy and solidarity. Actuar won it, taking into consideration its role in the social and economic development through the promotion, support and consolidation of small companies. This award is considered to be the most important existing in Europe in its field.
